There is a restaurant at the Pousada Barão de Forrester, where not only guests but who ever want to visit, can taste our traditional flavours. Among other prizes, the Pousada was recently medaled with gold at the “Gastronomia com Vinho do Porto” (Gastronomy with Port Wine) contest.
The inn features a bar, where guests can try refreshing drinks and cocktails after a swim in the outdoor pool. The area has a green garden with a terrace, where guests are welcome to relax.

Booking policy

Terms and conditions:
Daily prices, in euros (€), per room, with breakfast buffet and all the taxes included;
Maximum ocupation in a Single: 1 adult;
Maximum ocupation in a Twin/Double: 2 adults + 1 child until 11 years old or 3rd adult in an extra bed;
Maximum ocupation in the Superior: 2 adults + 1 child until 11 years old or 3rd adult in an extra bed;
The prices are valid from 1st november 2018 to 31st october 2019;
The half board is per person, per meal and doesn't include drinks;
Check-in starts at 2:00 pm;
Check-out until 12:00 am;
Pets are not allowed.

Children conditions:
Children 0-3 free;
Children 4-11 pay child extra bed;
Children more then 12 years old pay for adult extra bed.

Cancelations and no-show conditions:
Season A it will be charged 25% of the total amount of the reservation for cancelations within 1 month prior to arrival;
Season B it will be charged 50% of the total amount of the reservation for cancelations within 1 month prior to arrival;
Season C it will be charged 100% of the total amount of the reservation for cancelations within 2 months prior to arrival;
If the guest doesn't appear on the day of arrival without prior notice, the total amount of the stay will be charged.

Payment policies:
All reservations must be garanteed by credit card;
The payment can be made at check-out.

Our reception has a customer service, available 24h, however, we do not have a receptionist on duty at the reception during the night, so from 00h00 until 07h30 we close the Pousada. If you want to enter or leave, simply contact our watchman by phone, or ring our doorbell.
